Grayton Beach

Nice Dogs, Strange People

Grayton Beach has the feel of an old Florida beach town. The white sandy beach is the obvious attraction, but locals and tourists alike enjoy walking through town and grabbing coffee at a local coffee shop or stopping in one of the many locally owned restaurants for lunch or dinner.  One of the unofficial slogans for Grayton Beach is "Nice Dogs, Strange People." There are certainly characters living in Grayton who are generations deep in the area, but newcomers immediately fall in love with the friendly and unassuming vibe.  Western Lake is perfect for paddleboarding, kayaking or canoeing and exploring Grayton Beach State Park by water.  If you are looking for more adventure, charter a fishing boat off the beach for half and full day fishing trips.  Once you fall in love with Grayton Beach and all it has to offer, it can be hard to leave "town."
